Georgia State vs. Coastal Carolina (Coastal Carolina - 5.5)

The Chanticleers have done everything they were supposed to thus far with a 3-0 start ATS and they should keep it rolling tonight when they host Georgia State tonight. Grayson McCall& Co jumped on the Panthers quick in last year's matchup of these two with a 21-7 1st quarter and never looked back beating them 41-24. I expect more of the same in this one forcing Georgia State away from their run-heavy offense (throwing just 43.06% of the time, 112th least in FBS) in order to keep up with the fast-paced Chanticleer offense.

A good home win against a poor UCONN team is not enough to convince me Georgia St is able to keep this within a touchdown, especially considering they were unable to cover against Rhode Island letting up 35 in their home opener. Their team stats have been skewed by sub-par competition thus far but one thing that sticks with you from matchup to matchup is discipline, something the Panthers have struggled with in the first 3 weeks.

Coastal Carolina is also only letting opponents score on 57.14% of RedZone trips! Good for top 10 in FBS (ranked 9th)!

I like Coastal to win this one by at least a touchdown at home on a short week.
