LSU -9 (-110)

The Tigers are well aware of the fact that they need to run the table for the rest of their schedule to get a look from the committee after their week one loss to #3 Florida St. After their 72-10 romping of Grambling St last weekend, the real journey starts today in Starkville as they fire up SEC play.

I think Jayden Daniels & the LSU passing attack will be too much for the Bulldogs defense. Through 2 weeks Mississippi St is giving up 340 pass yds/game (ranked 122) while the LSU offense has averaged 347 pass yds game (ranked 10th). Daniels also ran for 93 yds & a TD last year when they played with LSU besting MS St 31-16 in Death Valley.

My bulldog might be more disciplined than these Bulldogs as they are currently averaging 9 penatlies/game (ranked 115th) for 90 yds/game (ranked 125th)! Almost 100 yds/game on penalties, a very lofty # considering LSU sports a tidy 2 penalty/game average (ranked 4th).

If LSU's defensive front can keep the run game in check I like their chances to take care of business by a couple of TD's.

Go Tigers!
