Darius Taylor O72.5 Rushing YDS (-115)
This game seems to be by far the most popular in the first Thursday slate of the season (mainly because it is only 1 of 2 matchups that include 2 FBS teams). I am staying away from straight plays tonight but do like Minnesota RB Darius Taylor's rushing prop regardless of the injury rumors (which has everything to do with the number only being 72.5). If this kid stays healthy, he'll be towards the top of the FBS rushing yards list.

Last season through 6 games Taylor got 23 carries/game & racked up 799 yds (5th most by a freshman in school history) to the tune of a 5.8 YPC avg for a Minnesota squad that ran the ball on 60.26% of plays (13th most in FBS).
Tarheel Defense
UNC's D gave up a ton of yards last year, including 168.3 rushing yds/game (ranked 93rd in FBS) @ 4.4 yds/carry (ranked 76th in FBS). In 13 games last season opposing leading rushers averaged 88.92 yds/game. One of those leading rushers was Minnesota's Darius Taylor who dominated with 138 yds in week 3.
It all comes down to Taylor's health in this one & coach Fleck is not giving up much intel on the subject. I think he goes and puts on a show for the hometown fans.
